Dear Lorna,

We've finished our spring season and have the summer programs up and running here at the Martin County Library System. I finally have a chance to thank you for your participation in our Chautauqua South cultural series this past spring.

It was a bit of a risk for us presenting a young, twenty-something musician for our older, conservative audience, however I am glad to report that it was a resounding success.

What struck me most was your stage presence and professionalism. The youthful energy, charm and the easy going manner with which you presented your show was very refreshing. You have the gift of a fine storyteller, a skill which any audience can relate to.

All of this was just a backdrop to your music. Your set was a perfect mix of thought provoking originals and timeless cover songs. I'm sure many in the audience had never heard a solo folk/rock singer before and were pleasantly surprised by the depth and resonance of your material.

Thank you for an engaging, entertaining and delightful evening of song. We would welcome the opportunity to showcase your talents again in the future.

In short, your show was a hit! I would recommend it to any presenter looking for a fresh, new talent with a great personality and the chops to back it up.

Best of luck with future endeavors and thanks again for sharing your talents with us in Martin County.
